WEEK 1: The compass
A compass shows us the direction (die Richtung), so we don‘t get lost. A compass uses a magnet which always points to North.
Task:

Play a game with your mum, dad, brother or sister. Look around the room and ask them to tell you the names of 2 things that they can see in 1 direction. 1st you ask then they ask. Play the game with all the directions.

Answers: "I can see a ball and a cap"...

- Time for some fitness. Each planet has an exercise. Stand in a circle with 3 other people and pass a ball around. To begin, one person says "Stop!". Whoever is holding the ball says a planet's name and everyone must do the exercises for that planet. The game continues till all the planets have been named... if you last that long! Whoever had the ball the last is the next to say stop.

- Let’s make an experiment. Do you have a small zipper sandwich bag and a black permanent marker pen? Draw a sun and rain cloud above an ocean. Put 5 drops of water into the bag and close it. Tape the bad to the window. When the sun shines the water evaporates. When the sun goes the water makes condensation and “rains” back down into the ocean. This is a mini DIY water cycle.
